As of May 1st, 2008, Nancy is accepting additional training horses.

Contact Nancy if you are interested in booking a time period for your horse to have training. The monthly training fee is $980. This includes board, 20 training sessions, and 4 lessons on your horse.

For the past ten years Nancy has helped owners become betters partners with their horses by offering a unique opportunity for owners to participate in their horse’s training. Whether or not you ride for pleasure, specialize in a horse sport, and compete, Nancy can help you improve your horse’s performance and your ability to communicate with your horse and become a more effective rider.

Here is a short story to illustrate how Nancy can help equine partnerships. A former student whose first love was eventing had a nice Dutch Warmblood mare. This student had some difficulty keeping her mare round in a frame and on the bit during her dressage tests and was frustrated with trainers who kept stating the obvious and herself for her apparent inability to make this crucial training step with her horse. Nancy was able to offer her a different experience. Her mare was put in training with Nancy, so that she could work on going forward into contact, coming round, and staying on the bit. Her owner took lessons with Nancy on the lunge line to work on her seat and elbows, teaching her how to have an elastic contact with the horses mouth in walk, trot, and canter. Then Nancy put owner and horse together to create the picture that they had been searching for.

At the moment, Nancy is training her own very promising five year old Dutch Warmblood Mare. Typically, in addition to her own horses, Nancy trains one to two client horses on a month-to-month basis.
