Meet the Horses

As of May 1st, 2008, Nancy is able to accept new riding students who can trailer their own horses for lessons

Nancy is an ARIA Level III Certified in Dressage Riding. She brings 20 years of teaching experience in both the classroom and the arena. Although her primary love is the art and sport of dressage, she trains and teaches all horses and humans, firmly believing that all disciplines benefit from a dressage foundation. Nancy focuses her instruction on the development of the rider. Through improving the rider, she also improves the horse’s way of going. Her goal is to help the rider and horse become better partners.

If you live in the area, take advantage of our indoor riding arena to continue riding through the winter months. Lesson clients are given access to the indoor and outdoor arenas outside of their regular lessons for a small facility use charge.

Oak Hill Stables offers limited opportunities to use our horses and only if the lesson rider is a good match with one of our horses. To encourage young riders to learn the sport and art of dressage, we have reduced rates for young riders who belong to SWVADA, Pony Club, and/or 4-H.
